Description

This fetal moose calf died naturally when its mother was killed by a large alaska brown bear in the spring snow in southwest Alaska. This moose calf was collected within a short time of being removed from the cow moose by a grizzly boar. The bear followed the moose through the spring snow and after a short chase through the forest, the cow sought refuge in a tree well and was quickly dispatched. I surprised the bear on the kill shortly thereafter and found the calf partly extracted from the womb. This is the first and only Alaskan moose fetus EVER permitted for sale. Possibly the LAST. I have found others but they are usually chewed up. It took some time to receive a decision from department of protection whether this sale was legal and should be allowed. This calf was listed on ebay before and was wrongly and mistakenly removed. This calf is NOT a live animal, is NOT a pet, and will be Rough skinned professionally and salted today and so will NOT be a whole frozen animal. My intent here is to salvage and preserve a beautiful creature of God and not mearly to make a buck as past ebayers have accused me. If in doubt see my starting bid. This calf is in excellent condition and full term. The calf weighs 22 pounds. I don't have a skin weight yet. In the photos there is loose hair visible. This loose hair is from the cow moose and not the calf. Shipping will be actual cost including package. Please feel free to mail with any questions.
