I'm happy to report (and maybe you already know), they canceled the auction.

I am certainly going to write ebay a letter. They always say how safe it is to buy on ebay and I believed them. I am also going to let others know and ask them to write as well.

Thanks for taking the whole thing well.  Some people occasionally react differently, but then again that's probably because they knew they were doing wrong and didn't like getting caught.

We deal with many people that deliberately torture and kill animals because there is a forum to make money for them on eBay.  It is really terrible.

With all the billions of dollars eBay makes every year, you'd think they'd stop being so greedy and spend some of that improving their auction program to catch these items before they go to auction, but the cheapskates want people like us to do it for them.  Amazing.
